Police in Arkansas City are looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting that happened Friday afternoon.
The victim of the shooting, 28-year-old Jonathan Martinez of Arkansas City, was flown to a Wichita hospital where he died hours later.
Police said Martinez was found after officers had a report of shots fired shortly before 1 p.m. in the 700 block of North B Street.
The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Christopher Robert Henry of Wichita, and he is believed to be in the Wichita area. Arkansas City police said he should be considered armed and dangerous, and they are working with Wichita police to find him.
Police said Henry and Martinez knew each other and it was not a random shooting.
