Police are still looking for a suspect, but charges have now been filed in the fatal shootings of a woman and her daughter at a south Wichita home.

25-year-old Daniel Lopez has been charged with capital murder, criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and aggravated assault.

Lopez is wanted for the killings of his girlfriend, 25-year-old Mickayla Sorell, and her daughter, 8-year-old Natalya Sorell.  Their bodies were found March 30th in a home in the 4500 block of South Walnut.   Officers went to the home to check on Sorell when she did not report for work.   Investigators believe the two were killed Saturday, March 28th.

Police said Lopez is believed to be armed and dangerous, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
