Spirit Aerosystems was planning to bring some workers back on April 8th to restart some of its work on Boeing aircraft, but Boeing officials have announced they are extending the temporary shutdown of its operations in Puget Sound, Washington.
Spirit issued a statement Sunday saying it will need to reassess its plans, and employees will be notified of changes in the next few days.
