The latest numbers from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment show there are now 1,588 Covid-19 in Kansas.
It’s an increase of nearly 100 since Wednesday afternoon. 80 deaths have been reported statewide, an increase of four.
There are now 217 cases in Sedgwick County. Sumner County is now reporting a new case of Covid-19.
The rest of the surrounding counties around Sedgwick remain unchanged. Johnson and Wyandotte counties still remain the hardest hit by the virus.
Johnson County has 343 cases, while Wyandotte is reporting 379. The majority of the deaths in Kansas have been in Johnson and Wyandotte County.
Of the over 16,000 people tested in Kansas, over 14,500 have tested negative for the virus.
