The latest figures from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment show there are now 4,238 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Kansas.
That is an increase of 500 since Wednesday. The increase is likely due to the increased testing the state has been able to conduct and not necessarily because of a sudden spike in cases. There are four new deaths since Wednesday, bringing the total to 129.
The state reports there are now 372 cases in Sedgwick County. Reno is at 34, Harvey at 7, Butler at 16, and no new cases in Cowley or Sumner County.
In western Kansas, Ford County now has 675, Seward, 500, and Finney 317. Wyandotte County has 677 cases, Johnson 464, Leavenworth 356, and Lyon County is at 200.
