An employee at Wichita State University has tested positive for COVID-19. This is the university’s first known case of coronavirus on campus.
In a statement, the university said the employee was working on campus, and appropriate protocols were followed in response to the case. University officials have been working to notify all known persons who have had direct exposure to the employee in programs, activities or employment. The university said it is following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control for cleaning, social distancing and policies on remote work.
