The Wichita Police Department has identified the body that was found on Saturday south of Haysville as 23 year old Savannah Schneider who went missing on May 31st.
Her body was discovered by friends, family, and other citizens who had formed a volunteer search party and set out to look for clues in the area where her cell phone was pinged off a nearby tower days earlier.
The cause of death has yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
