Six people were killed in a head-on vehicle collision on a highway in Lawrence on Thusday night.
The crash happened around 6:40 in the evening on the South Lawrence Trafficway when one vehicle travelling westbound collided with another vehicle travelling east.
Both cars caught fire, and the 6 occupants of one car were killed. The driver of the other car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
