Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors the Kansas Wounded Vet Run and Kansas Vietnam Veteran Jerry Partridge. Jerry enlisted in the Army at the age of 27. He did it for one main reason, to save his little brother, Bo. Without telling his family and friend, Jerry served so his brother wouldn’t have to. Jerry learned to be a tank mechanic, served his time in Vietnam, was exposed to Agent Orange and made it back to Kansas. This Sunday, in Augusta, Jerry will be honored at the Kansas Wounded Vet Run. Thank you Kansas Wounded Vet Run for honoring Jerry and thank you Jerry for your service.
