Sheriff’s investigators have made two arrests following an internal investigation of theft within Segdwick County’s Property and Evidence Department.
Cash, guns, drugs, as well as other items were stolen from the department in late January.
Former Property and Evidence Department Supervisor Robert White was arrested and was booked into the Sedgwick County Detention Facility. He is being charged with Distribution of Cocaine, two counts of Felony Theft, Felony Official Misconduct, 3 counts of Misdemeanor Theft, and 10 counts of Possession with Intent.
The former P&E Technician, Marc Gordon, will be charged with Felony Official Misconduct.
It is not anticipated any more arrests will be made, but this is still an active investigation.
