Wichita drivers license office temporarily closes because of coronavirus

The drivers license office in north Wichita has closed for a few days after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The Kansas Department of Revenue says cleaning operations will be conducted at the office, and it is expected to reopen Monday.  Appointments for the office will be rescheduled and moved to offices in Derby and Andover.   There will also be a new driver’s license office that will open July 6th at the Kellogg Crossing at 610 South Tyler.  The new facility will provide services for new drivers at first, and it will begin full service operations on July 20th.
