The parent company of Dillon’s stores in Kansas has issued a recall for more than 30 varieties of cheese dips and spreads because of a salmonella outbreak.
The dips and spreads were generally sold under the brand name Murray’s, and they were sold between May 15th and August 6th. They were made with onions linked to a salmonella outbreak that has sickened over 600 people in 43 states, including Kansas.
The onions were provided by Thomson International, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued recalls for other store chains that have sold the onions or products made with them. Customers who purchased the dips can return them to Kroger stores for a refund.
