Wichita man sentenced for involvement in four armed robberies

A Wichita man has been sentenced to nine and a half years in federal prison for being the getaway driver in a series of robberies that happened in 2018.

27-year-old Shaiquille Harris pleaded guilty to four counts of robbery and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.   He admitted to participating in robberies at Kwik Shop locations at 710 West 29th, 3959 South Hydraulic and 3601 East 47th Street South, along with a robbery at a Quik Trip at 2821 East 31st Street South.    A judge sentenced Harris to 115 months.

Another man, 28-year-old Brelen VonFange of Wichita, is awaiting trial, and he is accused of committing the actual robberies.
