Reward offered in murder of southeast Kansas man

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Independence Police Department have announced that a reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death of an Independence man.

Governor Kelly has signed an executive order offering a $5,000 reward.

37-year-old Detreck Foster was reported missing on May 12th, and he was last seen a month earlier in Independence.   KBI agents and Independence police are conducting the case as a homicide based on findings during the investigation.
