Four people, an adult and three children, were killed late Friday afternoon in a crash north of Viola.
The crash involved an SUV and a grain truck at 71st Street South and 263rd Street West. Sedgwick County deputies said the SUV was going south on 263rd and the truck was traveling east on 71st, and they collided in the intersection shortly after 5 p.m.
The four people in the SUV were killed. Their names have not been released. The intersection was closed for several hours after the crash.
