The Kansas Honor Flight 8th Annual Golf Tournament has begun the registration process. The tournament will take place at Sand Creek Station (920 Meadowbrook Drive in Newton) on October 5th.
The tournament is a fundraiser for the Kansas Honor Flight, which sends WWII, Korea, and Vietnam War veterans in the state of Kansas to visit their war memorials in Washington, D.C. All expenses are paid.
The flight hasn’t made any trips this years because of the ongoing pandemic, though 17 flights are planned for 2021.
