People say they’ve gotten a call from someone who claims to be from their doctor’s office. The caller says they want to send a saliva test to check for COVID-19, but they need some personal information first. The Butler County Health Department says this is a scam, and urges people getting a call like this to hang up.
If you suspect a call may be legit but are not quite sure, you can always hang up and call your doctor yourself.
