The man fatally shot in south Wichita Monday afternoon is identified as 68-year-old Troy Harris.
Officers were called to an apartment in the 2700 block of South St. Francis, around 1 p.m. This complex sits south of the Pawnee and Broadway Walmart. Harris was found in a parking lot with a gunshot wound and passed away at a hospital.
Wichita police say Harris had gotten into an argument with his 61-year-old brother when he was shot. The brother was arrested later in the day and booked for second degree murder and for being a felon in possession of a gun.
Specifics were not given on what the brothers has been arguing about.
