Elections Office Recommending Citizens To Check Voter Registration Before Heading To The Polls

With early in-person voting beginning on Monday, October 19th, voters in Sedgwick County are being urged to check Voter View to check their registration status before heading to the polls.

The Election Office received higher-than-expected voter registration applications, many of which are still being processed. All registration applications received before the October 13th deadline will be processed by Election Day on November 3rd.

They added that if you requested an advance mail-in ballot, you are strongly encouraged to submit your vote that way rather than voting in-person at a polling location.

Advance ballots can be dropped off at the Election Office at 510 North Main, Suite 101–or at one of the 14 ballot drop boxes around the county. They may be mailed to the Election Office, dropped off at a polling location during the early voting process, or dropped off at a polling location on Election Day.
