On November 21, six of Wichita’s Public Library branches will close for computers system maintenance.
The Advanced Learning Library will stay open on Saturday, because it runs on a separate system from the city’s branch libraries.
Maintenance to Wichita’s data center mean the branches won’t have phone or internet access. The Wichita Public Library website, online catalog, and other digital services will be down while work is being done. Everything should be back to normal by Sunday.
Materials due to the library on Saturday, November 21 will be due by Monday, November 23 and may be returned through the book drop at any location. Materials held for customers to pick up will be extended to Monday, November 23.
