Hunter Health announced that they have expanded their COVID-19 drive-thru testing capacity.
They were previously able to accommodate 60 tests per day, but are now able to administer 100.
Hunter Health is also encouraging residents to get tested prior to seeing friends and family over the holidays.
Testing hours will be from 9:00am until 12pm, and 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
Testing is still by appointment only, but same day appointments will be available. Prior to the expansion, the clinic’s testing schedule was often booked 2-3 days in advance.
For those with symptoms, a rapid response test may be administered, which usually produces results within 24 hours.
