Wichita felt another small earthquake Monday morning.
The KGS recorded this latest quake as a 2.7, centered near 13th and Greenwich. Shaking was felt at 4:19 a.m., and lasted a little longer than some of the other small quakes the area has felt over the past month.
The USGS recorded a 1.7 on Christmas Eve, in the area of 21st and K-96.
Recent quakes have been investigated by the Kansas Corporation Commission. The group didn’t find a specific cause for the recent shaking, but their report does say the quakes are not tied to any gas or oil well activity.
