Kansas Surpasses Goal To Conduct 1 Million COVID-19 Tests

Governor Kelly announced on Tuesday that Kansas has exceeded its goal to conduct 1 million COVID-19 tests in 2020.

Kelly set that goal in October through launching her administration’s Unified Testing Strategy, which coordinated COVID testing statewide.

The strategy included the “Stop the Spread. It’s Up To Us, Kansas” campaign, which directed residents to free testing locations across the state via the website GoGetTested.com/Kansas.

To date, there are 39 free testing locations on the site.

Kansas conducted over 1,001,000 COVID-19 tests in 2020.
