A 47 year old Wichita man was taken into custody Thursday in connection to the fatal stabbing of his wife.
Wichita Police responded to a disturbance call at home in the Delano area in the 300 block of South Dodge Ave Thursday morning. It was there officers found the body of Rebecca Nimmo with a stab wound in her chest. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband, Shawn Nimmo, was taken into custody some time afterward.
The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been released.
