Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors 88-year old Korean War Veteran Vince Golembiowski. Vince belonged to his high school class of 1950, but unlike the rest of his classmates, Vince never received his High School Diploma. Vince left school to enter the Korean War and serve our country, never getting his diploma. Thanks to son, that changed yesterday when Vince was handed his diploma in a special ceremony. Vince says it’s a miracle because there are only 6 left in the class of 1950, and they still see each other. Now when they do, Vince will have something pretty big to tell them. Congratulations Vince and THANK YOU for your service.
