The Harvey County Health Department has confirmed a cluster of COVID-19 cases at the AGCO facility in Hesston.
The company has been conducting regular testing, and 14 employees tested positive for the virus. They are isolating at home.
AGCO Hesston site leader Seth Beytien said in a press release that the employees have mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. He said the positivity rate still remains lower than the county and state statistics.
AGCO has been following a number of health and safety procedures for several months, including a mandatory mask requirement, daily disinfecting procedures and continuing education.
The cluster will be considered active until there are 28 consecutive days without positive cases.
