The KDHE announced that the amount of Johnson and Johnson vaccine doses slated to arrive next week will be considerably smaller than anticipated.
Roughly 100,000 doses were scheduled to be shipped to Kansas next week, but due to production issues that has cause delays, the number of vaccine doses to be delivered will only be around 16,500.
Johnson and Johnson said that because of the delay, the full shipment will not be ready to be sent until the third week of April.
Despite the setback, Kansas will be receiving an increase in 1st and 2nd doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
