Drive-thru argument leads to fatal shooting in SE Wichita

Wichita police say an argument at a drive-thru led to a fatal shooting Monday night, near Harry and Oliver.

Police say  19-year-old Quantin McIntosh Jr. was involved in a disturbance with someone at the Burger King, just west of Oliver, close to 11 p.m. The other person in the drive-thru was in a dark colored sedan, but that’s only description of the second car at this time. After the argument, McIntosh is reported to have followed the other driver, then both cars stopped in the street at Harry and Roosevelt. Police say the person in the dark sedan fired several shots, hitting McIntosh. A woman in his car flagged down nearby officers for help, and McIntosh was taken to a hospital where he later passed away.

The person in the dark sedan left and has not been found.
