Woman charged in relation to fatal New Year’s Day shooting in south Wichita

A Wichita woman has been charged with a felony related to a fatal shooting that happened on New Year’s Day at a south Wichita home.

21-year-old Isabel Martin made her first appearance in court Friday on a charge of recruiting criminal street gang membership.   Her bond was set at $100,000 and her next court appearance has been scheduled for April 22nd.

Another suspect, 19-year-old Noah Martin, has been charged with second degree murder and recruiting criminal street gang membership.   A 16-year-old boy is also facing charges in the case.

Police said 22-year-old Gabriel Campos-Torres was found dead at a home in the 1200 block of South Laura shortly after 12 a.m. on January 1st.
