The man who was killed in a recent early-morning shooting in east Wichita has been identified. 20-year-old Elijah Davis was found in the back yard of a home in the 200 block of North Battin.
The shooting was reported around 2:30 a.m. on April 11th. Neighbors heard a number of shots and reported a car speeding away. Three men were injured, but they were treated and released at a hospital. There’s no word on any arrests in the case.
Early reports said the home was being rented as an Airbnb, but the city said that is not allowed under zoning regulations.
