Two people are hospitalized after an overnight apartment fire near Kellogg and Hydraulic.

Firefighters were called to the area around 2:30 Tuesday morning, and found fire coming from a building. One person was able to get out of the apartment and firefighters rescued another person. Both people were take to a hospital with injuries described as serious. There has not been an update on either person’s condition so far.

There were reportedly two cats inside the home and only one was able to escape. Firefighters were able to rescue a dog from the home and revive it.

Investigators are working to find exactly what started this fire.
