There will be a limited number of COVID-19 testing sites open during the Labor Day holiday (Sept. 6th), but no-cost COVID-19 testing will be offering free testing at the Sedgwick County Health Department Clinic at 2716 W. Central Ave in Wichita.

This particular clinic location is offering no-cost testing on Monday, September 6th only. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, you can text “SC COVID TEST” to (316) 215-8313 to place yourself in line for a COVID-19 test. You’ll receive a reply notifying you of the wait time, when to come to the clinic, or if capacity for the day has been reached.

Free COVID-19 testing will also be offered on Labor Day at Ascension Via Christi Immediate Care (3312 E. Murdock in Wichita) from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and at MedExpress Urgent Care (www.medexpress.com for locations) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
