The man fatally shot at a downtown Wichita club overnight is identified as 34-year-old Preston Spencer, of Wichita.

Five women were hurt in the shooting, ranging in age from 22 to 40. Police say most of the injuries were to the leg area, though one woman was hit in the lower back. All of the injured woman are expected to survive their injuries.

Police say this started as a fight at the Enigma, near 3rd and Mosley. The suspect in the case was told leave the club, and he came back around 12:30 Tuesday morning, firing shots through the club’s windows and doors.

Police have identified a man in his 20’s as the suspected shooter in this case. Anyone who knows where Keyshawn Dawson is is asked to call police. Anonymous information can also be left with Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
