Wichita Police have arrested a man accused of raping a woman he met online.
The 25 year old man was arrested on charges of rape and aggravated battery.
Police responded to the area of North Ash Street Wednesday afternoon after woman reported that she had been raped by a man that she didn’t know.
The woman later told officers that she had been talking to a man online. The man went to the woman’s home, but upon his arrival, the woman said it was not the man she thought she had met online.
The suspect was apprehended at a home in South Wichita and is currently in jail on a $250,000 bond.
