The Star Spangled Salute is presented by

Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Iraq War Marine Veteran Justin Bejema.  At the beginning of the pandemic Justin and his wife started Rebel Pastures, a farm that sells pasture raised chickens and eggs through online sellers like Market Wagon.  Using sustainable practices, the farm raised 3,600 chickens this past year.  However, it’s so much more than a farm.  Justin says, just like his service in the military, he sees farming being about service too. Farming has also been a way for Justin to work through his PTSD and he hopes to help others do the same by introducing them to sustainable farming.  Thank you Justin for helping and THANK YOU for your service.
