The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign was officially launched on Friday, Nov. 19th.
Attendees witnessed the first donation for the season; a huge gold coin was ceremoniously dropped from the sky and into a giant red kettle. The festivities were held at Old Town Square in Wichita.
The Kettle portion of the campaign generates the heaviest donations closer to the Christmas holiday. In addition to digital donations, QR and tap codes are available again this year at all Red Kettle locations. Donations by mail are also accepted and can be sent to 350 N. Market St. Wichita, KS 67202.
