Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors disabled Iraq Combat Veteran Tim Williams.  When Tim purchased the property in Georgia with 86 pecan trees, he admits he knew nothing about pecans.  That didn’t stop him.  He went on to buy used equipment, a store front and started a processing facility and the Nut House was born.  Tim admits the business has had it’s ups and downs, the crops have had ups and downs but that doesn’t deter him.  Tim says he doesn’t do it for the money he does it to stay engaged and to serve the community.  Ted says he plans to give part of the profits to the Byron-based Star Bright Animal Rescue that he adopted his service dog Peter from and other proceeds will go to the organization in Omaha, Nebraska that trained Peter. Thank you for your passion Tim and THANK YOU for your service.
