Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Elbee, a blind Veteran canine that served in the United States military in Iraq and his human, Navy Veteran Scott.  Elbee was blind and homeless and that’s how he landed at the Humane Society. It wasn’t long before Elbee and Scott found each other and Scott said he could relate to Elbee as a fellow veteran. “They said that he had some anxiety issues and PTSD symptoms, which is understandable given what his job was. As one with some of those same symptoms, I can understand.” Scott said that the least he could do was give Elbee a home.  Thank you Scott for giving Elbee a home and THANK YOU Elbee and Scott for your service.
