Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors WWII Air Force Veteran Dale Miller. Dale joined the armed forces in 1942 as a mechanic and pilot and served his country until 1947. Yesterday, surrounded by family, friends and members at his senior living facility, he celebrated his 100th birthday. Dale says he loves rotisserie chicken, has a sweet tooth for ice cream and cake and says the secret to a long life is “just keep living”. Happy Birthday Dale and THANK YOU for your service as part of the “Greatest Generation”.
