Megan Moroney is having an amazing 2023.  The new album “Lucky”, currently a top 5 single with “Tennesee Orange” and she’s going to be at the Kansas State Fair in September opening for Carly Pearce….WHAT!!

I came across this article from a couple days ago, where Megan said that “Tennessee Orange” was never supposed to be the first single off her album “Lucky”.  Funny how things happen, but it all worked out for the best.  You have to wonder what would have happened if another single was her first. Like mabye “Kansas Anymore” which is full of heartbreak.

Or maybe “Why Johnny”

Either way, Megan Moroney is a name you’re going to hear a lot more from this year.  Don’t be surprised if she is a CMA nominee.
