Morgan Wallen’s “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen” opens this weekend, but Morgan Wallen’s name will not grace the outside of it, at least for now. City council members voted down a proposal to put the celebrity’s name in neon lights outside because some said he gives Nashville a bad name. Nashville clearly doesn’t care since he recently sold out Nissan Stadium

 

 

“Austin” singer Dasha is preparing to make her debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville the summer. The breakout star said “stepping into the Opry Circle is something she’s dreamed about since she was a kid.” Dasha’s Opry debut is June 15th.

 

 

What’s Chris Stapleton up to next?  He’s launching his own Sirius XM radio show called Chris Stapleton Radio. Chris Stapleton Radio will be curated and presented by Stapleton and his band, The Honchos. The channel will feature music from his career and tracks by legendary artists in Country, Rock, Soul, and more.

 

 

 

 

 

The annual “Stars For Second Harvest” benefit concert has set the lineup for its June 4 concert at the Ryman Auditorium. Hardy, Jamey Johnson will join Ernest for the benefit which raises money for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

 

 

 

 

Music can be life changing and life saving. Cody Johnson shared a story recently about a woman in a meet in greet who shared with him that one night she was going to take her own life and then the song “Human” came on the radio and she decided not to.  Cody said, “I stood there with her and I cried, and I thought, who cares about a No. 1 or a platinum record? That’s real. That’s real music that went across the ocean and touched somebody.”
