An unidentified man was taken to a hospital in critical condition after an accidental shooting at a home in Wichita’s Midtown neighborhood.
The shooting was reported at 12:20 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 1100 block of North Market. Police said a man was cleaning a firearm when it accidentally discharged, sending a bullet into his right lower jaw.
Police are still investigating.
