Charges have been filed against a Wichita woman for a fatal crash from last month.
During an appearance in Sedgwick County District Court, 19-year-old Peyton Allart was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, transporting an open container and purchase or consumption of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.
Prosecutors accuse Allart of driving a pickup that collided with a car early on June 23rd at Central and McLean. A passenger in the car, 28-year-old Jaz Brooks, died at the scene.
