A teenager charged in a fatal shooting at Wichita’s Towne East Square has entered no-contest pleas in the case.

The pleas were entered by 18-year-old Te’bryis Robinson to charges of second degree murder, attempted second degree murder and aggravated battery.

Police said a fight led to a shooting on the lower level of the mall on the afternoon of March 18th, 2022.   The shooting resulted in the death of 14-year-old Trenj’vious Hutton.

Robinson was 16 at the time of the shooting, and the case was originally dismissed without prejudice because of an issue with records.  Robinson was charged as an adult earlier this year with first degree murder.

After the no-contest pleas, Robinson was scheduled for sentencing on September 12th.
