Congratulations, Thomas Rhett. Wednesday, Rhett and his family descended on downtown Nashville to the Country Music Hall of Fame so he could receive his star on the Walk of Fame. His star is the 113th outside the historic venue, and he said that while the star may have his name on it, it belongs to a heck of a lot of people.

Jo Dee Messina is at the center of an online controversy. The viral debate involves her song “Bye Bye,” and the iconic line in question is “left foot on the accelerator,” or is it “lead foot on the accelerator”? Her video response was very well played, keeping people questioning what they’re hearing. What do you think it is?

And Lauren Alaina and Kane Brown are going to see if lightning can strike twice for them. The friends and former Georgia middle school classmates first hit it big with their song “What Ifs,” and on Friday, July 17th, they will try to recreate the magic with a new single called “Never Been In Love.” The song will appear on Alaina’s highly anticipated new album, “Stages,” due August 28th.
