2020 Hunter’s Safety Clinic – CLASS FULL

We’re sorry – our class is full.

What you need to know when attending: 

Saturday October 3rd and Sunday October 4th at the Lake Afton Public Shooting Range, 25000 W. MacArthur Rd., Garden Plain KS 67050
Minimum Age to be Certified in this class: 11

Check-In: Saturday registration ends at 8:30 a.m. and classes start 9:00 a.m. (NO students will be accepted after 8:30 a.m)
Sunday classes resume at 1:30 p.m.

ALL attendees are required to wear face coverings per the Emergency Order from Sedgwick County and practice social distancing.  Masks will not be supplied, please bring your own mask and hand sanitizer.

This class is held entirely outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Please dress and prepare accordingly!

Instructor Notes:  Students MUST attend and complete class BOTH days to be eligible to take the test on Sunday afternoon 10/04/2020.

This class is held entirely outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Please dress and prepare accordingly!
Class Notes: Kansas Hunter’s Education teaches new hunters to be ethical, safe, and knowledgeable.

The course consists of subjects covering hunter responsibility, ethics, fair chase, history of firearms, firearms basics, ammunition, basic gun safety, field safety, bow hunting, conservation and wildlife management, wildlife of Kansas, outdoor emergencies, Kansas hunting regulations and boating safety for hunters.

Covid-19 PRECAUTIONS REQUIRE the following rules this year:

1. Class size is limited to the first 290 students registered On-Line. NO Mail-In registration is accepted this year.
2. Masks are required for all Students AND Attendees. Masks will NOT be supplied. Attendees must bring their own masks.
3. NO WALK-INs will be accepted this year. ALL Students MUST pre-register no later than close of business on OCT 01, 2020.

CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED and CLASSES ARE FULL.
