A fiery crash led police to block traffic in west Wichita Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported on westbound Kellogg near West Street around 4 p.m. There was no word of serious injuries, but one vehicle caught fire. It was similar to a crash that happened near Kellogg and I-235 last week.
Traffic was stopped and was later reduced to one lane while police and emergency crews worked at the scene.
Another crash caused traffic to back up at I-235 and Broadway, and northbound traffic was slow again on I-135 because of construction at the I-235 interchange.
There was also a problem for traffic at the 47th Street South exit at the I-135 and I-235 interchange. A beam from a sign fell across the lanes of traffic and the exit was partially blocked around 4:45 p.m.
