WICHITA, Kan. - An anonymous donor contributed $5-million to a building project at Wichita State University.
This latest donation means $26.7-million has been raised by private donors to build a new site for the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The new building will cost $50-million, and the school had hoped to raise half of the needed funding from private sources.
The WSU Foundation will continue efforts to raise money for the new building, in an effort to reduce university resources going toward the project.
The new building will be replacing Clinton Hall, which was built in 1970 to house WSU's business school.
