Arrests made in ATM burglary from Bingo Casino

Two men could face federal charges

WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita Police say two arrests have been made in connection to the theft of an ATM during a burglary a a Bingo Parlor.

It happened at the Bingo Casino, located at Mt. Vernon and Grove, around 4:30 a.m. Monday.  Police say 3 men pulled up to the business in a pickup truck.

Two of the suspects broke out the glass on the front door, and then attached a tow rope to the ATM.  The driver of the pickup then backed through the front doors, and then pulled forward, yanking the ATM free from the ground.

The men then loaded the ATM into the bed of the pickup truck and left the scene.

Police say two men are now in custody.  A 53-year-old man and 25-year-old man were arrested Wednesday in connection to the burglary.

The investigation into the burglary is still ongoing according to police and one suspect is still outstanding.  The case is being presented to the United States Attorney's Office.
