Burger King robbed at gunpoint Sunday night

It happened near 21st St. and North Amidon

WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita Police are working to identify the suspect who robbed a Burger King in northwest Wichita.

It happened around 11 p.m. Sunday evening near 21st and Amidon.  Two employees told officers that a man had approached the drive through window, pointed a gun, and demanded money.

They cooperated with the suspect who left on foot with an unknown amount of cash.  The employees were not hurt.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid to late thirties.  He was wearing a brown and black mask, a green and tan camouflage jacket, and was armed with a black handgun.

Police are reviewing the security video to work to identify the man.  The ask anyone who may have information about the robbery to contact investigators at 268-4407 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
